I decided to spend my Thanksgiving holiday a bit different this year. I don’t have any family in California, and everyone else around here that I know was already engaged in their own family celebrations. So, I made use of the day to record my first teaching to be sold on my website!
I started recording on Thursday and had my schedule re-arranged by God for the better. Turns out that today was a better day for recording, so I went at it with a good will. I think it flowed well and am pleased with the results. I have one more section to do tomorrow, plus a bunch of audio editing. My hope is that by the end of the weekend I will have CD masters in my hand and the labels loaded on the printers and ready to go!
For the moment, however I am doing a bit of vegging before going at it again tomorrow. I find that “The Andy Griffith Show” is great for this particular purpose …
Hi Megan,
This is really a beautiful sight. I love the feel of the Home Page. I spent Thanksgiving in a Labor and Delivery room – not for me :), but with a friend. Little “Emma Lynn” was born the following evening at 7 pm. Even as I write this, I get teary-eyed (not so unusual). She is very healthy. I had an opportunity to bless her spirit on many occasions and am about finished blessing her via the “Blessing Your Spirit” book. What a joy.
So my glory story is that a lovely baby is born. Her mommy has been through a lot of trials but I believe she will grow to be a really beautiful mom!
