Last night I got hooked on writing some text for the home page of the website. In fact, I got a little TOO hooked. Several paragraphs later I realized I had gotten just a tad carried away with my passion about getting to that place God has created our spirits to yearn for. Home page, Megan. Just enough to share what you are about and connect with people. Save the preaching for an article or two.
Also wanted to share a really fun glory story. I am teaching a teleconference for the Mercy gift right now (which will soon become an album!) and I usually ask for glory stories at the beginning of the class. On Tuesday I did that, as usual, and someone spoke up about some signficant new perspective they had gained. Someone else spoke up and shared how God had met her that weekend in a HUGE way and her spirit was completely transformed as a result. Another person spoke up to cheer her on and then share her story! We all ended up laughing and giggling and just bubbling over the with the joy of Father’s intervention in our lives. I was half tempted to cancel the class all together and just party all night! 🙂 Fun stuff!
And I so appreciate the culture of sharing glory stories and celebrating the things God is doing. This is another habit I picked up from Arthur and Plumbline. In the inner healing and deliverance process we get so tied up with looking at all the uglies. That can get quite depressing, and even crowd out your perspective of the bigness of God and His active intervention in your life. Keep looking for Divine Fingerprints! It’s a wonderful habit to form.
