I set up a pretty bodacious schedule for myself. Too bodacious, in fact. I am already behind. I am in the process of setting up a new website and preparing to record an album to sell on it. And boy, there sure is a lot that goes into that process!
My new business is called Beyond the Horizon and the website is www.GoBeyondTheHorizon.com. I am really excited about this new beginning and how God will use it to further His Kingdom.
As I have spent days and hours working on this new business and website, I am drawn to look at how I got to the place where I am. It wasn’t easy, clean, or simple. It has been fun at times, and certainly exhilerating, entertaining, and painful. But life brings you it’s greatest treasures when they come in all kinds of colors.
So, I have been flipping through the pages of the years and celebrating God’s goodness in the people He has sent my way. One of those people who has played a huge role in recent years is Arthur Burk. He is founder of a business called Plumbline Ministries, and God has used him in a prfound way to poise me at the cusp of this new beginning. His teachings have shown me facets of God’s nature I had never seen, and fanned the flame of my own allegience and commitment to the great King, Jesus Christ. I would not know half the things I know about myself, nor would I be in any shape to act on that knowledge, if it weren’t for Arthur Burk giving of himself so freely to God’s desires.
It is an honor to give back to the body of Christ and the world for how many dear friends, family, and brothers and sister in Christ who have given to me.
And now back to the schedule …
Yay, Megan !
Megan
What a delight to see the unfolding of your deligence and intentionallity to pursure your path to greatness. We are told in scripture to be part of the process of doing exploits for The King. Watching you mature to this place fills me with great JOY.
“Elegant” and “beautifu” describe your “words” which establish a frame surrounding your writings and teachings. So much wisdom released through your life and I, as a receipitent have benefited greatly.
Arthur Burk has been a friend and mentor to me and my children as we have navigated through my widowhood these past twenty years. His help began in the tenth year of this journey and Authur’s Biblical Foundation of all his teachings has wisely inspired my life and all of my children and their spouses and their children to find our idenity in this lonely place without our husband and father and grandfather. He has mentored us with the Father Heart of God.
Megan, I, too, am grateful for the wisdom you have gleaned in friendship with Mr. Burk and am looking forward to the rewards from your new venture of new beginnings … “Beyond The Horizon” … “Beyond The Rim of The World We See”.
Yes, it is a time to celebrate new beginnings in our lives as belivers in this sad and lonely world where so many are struggling through and I will bookmark your new website and look forward to being challenged to GROW.
Blessings

Megan, thank you for this opportunity. My walk has been an adventure and a lot of the time I have wondered if I am crazy.
When God first brought me to Plumbline Ministries and Arthur Burk I was in great need of someone who gets it and gets me. I had not been able to find that in the body of Christ in a leader. I was hungry for something (I didn’t know what) and was so tired of church as usual and just going through the motions of what was expected of me.
I jumped in feet first and up to my neck in everything I could get me hands on from Arthur. He provides what is badly needed in the body. A fathering style of leadership. He gives you an opportunity to explore who you are and who God created you to be without beating you over the head if you don’t fit in a specific LITTLE BOX!!
In the last 3 years I have grown and matured and explored in ways I didn’t know were possible and I am eternally grateful to be a part of Plumbline. THANK YOU ARTHUR!!!! I am blessed more than I can say.
Megan, congratulations! I am so excited about your new beginnings. I checked out your new website and it is beautiful!
Your post inspired me to a spontaneous celebration this morning of all the things God has done in my life in past several years and of my journey with Jesus. Isn’t He an amazing God?
Thank you, I will watch with anticipation how your dream unfolds.
When you walk with the King there is never a dull day. 🙂
Megan,
I love the name of your business. A very powerful dream I had years ago was standing near a ledge and seeing across the valley the a whole mountain range in what I can best try to describe as saturated green. I knew I was in heaven! That was a very thrilling horizon, and I know you are tapping into the horizon that God is calling you and others to.
Of all the people I have listened to, Arthur Burk is the one who has most clearly called me beyond the horizon. Just the other day I was listening to a portion of one of his CD’s with my husband. At the end of it, Nick said,”It’s Biblical, you can’t disagree with it; it just feels natural (code for not “religious”). That pretty much sums up how Mr. Burk’s teachings have hit me as well. As I move from that initial “yes” regarding a Biblical Principle to considering it in different lights, I find I go beyond my present paradigms and venture out “beyond the horizon” of my own limited view.
The natural next step of sharing his teaching and insights has been a great joy. Only in heaven will we see how many are truly transformed by the diligence and faith Plumbline has shown.
Megan, it’s an honor to know you and to see that you keep pressing on! Life in God is the BEST! Thank you and Arthur for helping me and scores of others as we too bring His Kingdom here into His precious earth.
Hi Megan
I can see all the other comments in this post is exactly 1 year old, so I guess you have some kind of anniversary today, since I think these are the first comments on your first post on your blog.
Today, one year later, I find myself in some kind of a new beginning myself. Lately I have felt that parts of my life has fallen apart, but the pieces are still there. And I feel a strong urge to build it up again in a new way. My motivation for doing so is much greater than before, and I also feel tools for doing it have been coming to me.
I have also received a lot from Arthur Burk and Plumbline. The first time I heard about some of his teaching were 9 years ago, and 2 ys later I started listening to a lot of his recordings. The most important thing that has come out of it is a willingness to change, and the realization that change is possible if you get closer to God and look at things with his eyes.
Blessings to you Megan, in the new seminars, and some new recordings I guess you will do soon 🙂
